Die Stiftung von Gegenständen zur Erinnerung an eine Person ist eine alte Praxis und setzt voraus, dass die bedachte Institution das Andenken MIT dem Gegenstand bewahrt. Man kann Frau Lehman nicht mehr fragen, ob es ihr recht gewesen wäre, wenn das Museum sich nun von ihrem Geschenk trennt.
