Sotheby's has announced it is to sell an extremely rare and perfectly conditioned first edition of St Augustine's complete works as edited by Erasmus. In total, more than 8,000 pages have been annotated with remarks including more than 400 important doctrinal commentaries – from 50 to 3,000 words – by Luther and his fellow reformers, such as Philipp Melanchthon, Wenzeslaus Linck and George Spalatin.

Google News kennt nur einen weiteren Zeitungsbericht darüber, der im Reformatorisch Dagblad aus Apeldoorn (NL) erschien. Lesbar ist der Text aber sonntags nicht – da ist die Website geschlossen: http://www.refdag.nl/zondag. (Wikipedia weiß das auch.)
