Die Terms of use https://www.lacma.org/about/contact-us/terms-use sind so unklar, dass ich sie erst beim zweiten Lesen verstanden habe. Wenn Content gekennzeichnet ist mit "Public Domain High Resolution Image Available", verzichtet das Museum offenkundig auch auf das ihm zustehende Urheberrecht (US: Copyright) an Reproduktionen von 3-D-Vorlagen. Für Nutzer gilt hier nur die Verpflichtung zur Quellenangabe: "Users should cite the author/artist and source of the Public Domain High Resolution images as they would material from any printed or other work, and citation should include the URL www.lacma.org in addition to all other proprietary notices, if any, provided with the Public Domain High Resolution images." Das "should" deutet an, dass das Museum wohl nicht gegen Verstöße vorgehen wird. Anderer Content, nämlich der Protected Content (wozu auch Public-Domain-Werke gehören können), darf nur für nichtkommerzielle persönliche Zwecke genutzt werden.
