These oral history interviews were conducted by staff and volunteers at the Manchester Chinese Centre as part of the Manchester Chinese Archive project, funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund, and are available to view on DVDs at the Greater Manchester County Record Office.

For more information see the project website:
http://www.manchesterchinesearchive.org.uk/

Most interviews are conducted in Chinese, but where the interview is in English this is noted.

We have short summary transcripts for seven of them in Chinese text only - see individual photo descriptions. If anyone would like to volunteer to translate these summaries into English, or to provide summaries for any of the other interviews, we would be very grateful!
